In the book Breakfast at Sotheby’s: An A-Z of the Art World, Philip Hook mentioned that he is interested in those artists who do writings, from their diaries, you could get a glimpse of their honesty, which would touch your heart. What’s more, artists would love to recognize and tolerant their deficiency and absurdity. Artists’ diaries have shown painful souls inside those creators.
My friend took some photos of me in my painting zone, I like those photos when I looked up, like looking for something I don’t know.
In the past weeks, every morning I go for boxing before coming to school, by throwing punches and sweating, I try to vent my pressure, anxiety, anger, and all the negative feelings, to restrain my emotion and keep calm at school.
We were asked to choose one artist that we feel is relevant to our current practice, and that we think could relevant to Stage 2 projects.
Takashi Murakami is my final choice.

At the end of the last project, I asked myself “Am I ready to accept more challenges, to explore more and be more critical?”
When I look back, the answer is yes, I did.
For how many times you want to escape?
Therefore, you escape into traveling, food, music, books, art, daydreams…….
But the truth is, wherever we escape, we still need to face trifles, need to face the reality.
We can’t escape.
