“Devote yourself to loving others, devote yourself to your community around you, and devote yourself to creating something that gives you purpose and meaning.”
— Tuesdays with Morrie
Before going to slums for painting, I chose a small community of Mandaluyong to have a try, and the wall there is soooo big, couldn’t image how can I finish the wall by myself.
Thanks to Bigboy and his Ronac Art Center, he sponsored me the spraypaints and also provide 10 amazing artists to support this project
(Egg, Bigboy, Trip 63, Mowen, Nemo, Chill, Distort, Geloy, Jose, Exld)
Except me, everyone is professional graffiti artist with more than 10 years experience, they always go to international graffiti competitions, cooperate with famous brands, host art exhibitions and sell great paintings.
For example, Egg and Exld just went to China for Asia Pacific graffiti competitions, here you can see their fantastic graffiti :
Nemo is a famous and humble artist, he seldom shows up at his art exhibitions but his paintings are very popular, recently when he hosted his art exhibiton in Ronac Art Center, the gallery boss was so proud to say that all paintings and toys were sold out immediately.
However !Those great artists didn’t say anything but join my project to go the poor community and slum to paint for children’s home.
Children from the community also come to join us
I’m also learning from these graffiti masters how to paint on the wall, when I heard children saying “Persian Princess is so beautiful” I’m sooooo happy 🙂
After the whole day, we have a happy and colorful wall.
