Gibran is an intelligent artist and poet, the first time when I read the Prophet,  it was like the light rain washing my heart and mind.  When I experienced more in my life, reading Sand and Foam is like a wake-up call —— Hi, why are you repeating these mistakes that so many people have made before?

I did this painting based on the 3 well-known quotes from Sand and Foam, about I and I, and him and her.

White represents light while black represents darkness, closed eyes are about being asleep while open eyes are about being awake, the Persian Princess in white is falling asleep on the other’s shoulder, they hug and hold each other hands, they are one but also two, they are in the flame, the flame is consuming the dry bush, the flame is consuming their bodies, and one Persian Princess is consuming the other one.

it’s in the flame where I found eternal love.
